BONUS TRACK CHEAT Type hollywood during the main menu to get the bonus track, Monolithic Studios . OTHER CHEATS Hold the N key when the race is loading to drive during the night. Type pioneer during the main menu to upgrade all cars to "Pioneer Engines" This makes the cars go faster and handle better. Type slip during the main menu to make the track slipery. 9 CAMERA VIEWS Please note that most people cannot complete this cheat after the first time trying. Only one out of every ten tries the camera view will work. Hold RIGHT SHIFT and the B key. Do not let go while the game is loading. After the game loaded the screen will turn black, just before the black screen disappears press and let go of RIGHT SHIFT, c and b 6 times. Press and let go of them again 6 times just before the camera zooms to the car. Now let go. Toggle through your camera views and you should now have a over-head view of the car! REMOVE INVISABLE WALLS Start the race on either the Mediterraneo or the Mystic Peaks track with the McLaren F1 in Simulation Mode. At any time during the race, drive in reverse, keep your horn blaring and hit any at moveable object (not a sign) at about 60 MPH. Now the cheat is enabled. To use the cheat you must drive over 80 MPH and hit any guard rail, bridge, etc. You will fly off track. PYSHCO MODE Start the race on any track with the McLaren F1 in Simulation Mode. Once you reach about 45 MPH hold down hand brake until you come to a complete stop. Now change to the reverse gear, and hold down accel. Begin to hold hand brake just before the starting line. NEED FOR SPEED 2 SHORTCUTS Pacific Spirit After the 360 degree cement turn drive onto the green grass, after a while you will start driving onto brown dirt. On the dirt take a right into the trees. There will be another small dirt trail when you are inside the trees. Follow the path and if you gain a lot of speed the jump near the end will be enormous. On the first turn you will see a parking lot on the left side of the road. Turn into it. After following through the parking lot you will drive onto green grass. After the grass area take a left to get back onto the road. While on the secret dirt path (where the jump is), there will be a secret area like the green one in North Country. When you are located at the very end of the path you will be able to reverse you car into the wall of trees at the end of the dirt road. North Country After the tunnel with a sharp left you may see a hidden turn to the right leading to a hill, If you cannot see it just turn. Follow the hill and at the bottom take a right to get yourself back onto the road, On the same shortcut before you get back on the road turn around and drive very slowly up your left side. Drive up to the left side of the tree and keep on going. The car will start to wobble then fall into some unknown all green area. You can drive around under the ground but if you drive too far come back up on the road. While in the hidden turn follow down the hill. In the center of the hill you should see a pine tree. Drive to the wooden fence near the right of the pine tree. You should be able to drive through the fence. Mediterraneo When you usually pass the first windmill, instead take a quick right to go off a jump. Before leaving the town, take a right up onto a ledge. It leads to a jump flying the rest of the way down the town. After the bridge and before the first windmill, keep left and you should be able to drive behind windmills. Proving Grounds Near the end of the course, take a left to drive into the official Need For Speed 2 pitlane. Mystic Peaks Near the end of the track just before the tunnel to the finish their should be a 90 degree wall with snow all over it. If you go back about 50 meters and have a high speed, you will be able to drive up the low wall all the way to the top wall (maybe even go through the tunnels side?). Outback When you reach the end of the town turn to the left of the dirt to find a jump. If you go off it going reverse through the track than you will get some awesome air and be able to do some cool stunts. Do not go off it going the tracks usual direction. After you pass the old town integrated on the did you should later follow on to white sand surroundings. About half way through the sand take a right to the side of the road, Soon you will fly over an invisible jump giving you tons of air and lots of distance. Monolithic Studios First try the shortcut driving slowly. The shortcut is located near the cabins in the Jurassic Park section of the course. It is a the tallest peak in the small hill. It should be noticed easily. To do the shortcut propedy you will have to go fast (70 MPH+). To get there fast you will have to do a go near the shark and put your gear to neutral. When your ready to go, shift up to first gear. Start driving and do not let go of accel. Do a turn using hand brake up to the high peak of land, Driving up the peak you should land into an area.
